Performance Comparison

In order to give you some general guidelines with which to compare LED lamps with Halogen we have given each of our lamps an "experience" rating which we have based on our own testing of each lamp. The "experience" rating gives an idea as to what wattage of halogen lamp a particular LED lamp could replace.
Remember when considering changing a lighting scheme to incorporate LED lamps it is important to ask yourself if you really need the amount of light output your halogens are currently giving. In many instances the answer to this is resounding "no" when a customer realises that they are lighting a kitchen with 300Ws of halogen power when they were quite happy with a 100W filament bulb a few years ago!!

Choice of colour

All of our lamps are offered in both "Cool White" and "Warm White" versions. The table below gives an overview of colour temperature.
On the color temperature scale our Warm White LED lamps are rated at 2700k and compare closely to standard halogens at around 3000k. Cool White LED lamps are rated at approx 4000k give a more "clinical" and "high tech" feel to a lighting scheme.
Many ranges also include red, green, blue and yellow colour options which are ideal for display and feature lighting.
