Brussels to ban spotlights

After completing their ban on the manufacture and importing of 100W filamant lamps EU officials in Brussels have turned their attention to banning different types of spot lights including the halogen dichroic used by many businesses for decorative lighting as well as in the kitchens and bathrooms of many homes.
The new rules are to be proposed to the European parliment as early as next year.
